Punta Cana

Punta Cana is a resort area on the eastern tip of the Dominican Republic, known for long stretches of white-sand beaches and clear, warm Caribbean waters. It’s part of the larger La Altagracia province and is closely associated with Bávaro, Cap Cana, and Uvero Alto, where many all-inclusive hotels and gated communities are located. Tourism is the main driver of the local economy, supported by Punta Cana International Airport, one of the country’s busiest.
