Studying at a university in Norway

In this article - a few important points about enrolling and studying in Norway, one of the most developed countries in Europe.

▫️ There are no restrictions on age, nationality and other parameters for studying in Norway; it is possible to study not only in Norwegian, but also in English.

▫️ The following documents are required for admission: passport, document of previous education with apostille, language certificate, motivation letter, references (optional).

▫️ The application is submitted online 6-12 months in advance depending on the university and program. In case of a positive answer, you are most often asked to send hard copies by mail.

▫️ The Norwegian education system involves 80% self-study and a lot of practical training. Practical training often involves internships and work in other EU countries.

▫️ Norwegian universities have several levels of scholarships and research grants. These are usually available on the university website and on the notice board. Any student who meets the criteria can apply.
